The Adoration of the Lamb – The Hymn of the Chosen

This image is rich in symbolism. Above, the mystical Lamb with seven eyes and seven horns is worshipped by the Elders, while the symbols of the four Evangelists appear around it. A stream of blood flows from its breast and is collected in a cup. Below, the elect hold palm branches, emblems of victory and martyrdom. John is shown kneeling and conversing with one of the Elders. It is a scene of glory and salvation, in which the redeemed are united in a single hymn.
